Resumen
El establecimiento del microbiota intestinal del recién nacido es un proceso crucial que ocurre durante el nacimiento y la lactancia, jugando un papel fundamental en el desarrollo del sistema inmunológico y la salud del bebé a lo largo de su vida. En esta pequeña revisión exponemos los principales componentes de la microbiota neonatal y damos un panorama general de su efecto en el desarrollo de la respuesta inmunológica en el intestino del recién nacido.

Abstract
The establishment of the newborn’s intestinal microbiota is a crucial process that occurs during birth and breastfeeding, playing a fundamental role in the development of the immune system and the health of the baby throughout its life. In this short review we present the main components of the neonatal microbiota and give a general overview of their effect on the development of the immune response in the intestine of the newborn.
